Marine conservationist Natalie Parra originally worked in film and design before trying to pursue a lifestyle where she could actively work with others to aid the world's oceans as much as possible. At age 21 she co-founded Keiko Conservation with biologist Siena Schaar to create a platform where absolutely anyone anywhere could partake in easy and accessible ways to help ocean conservation efforts worldwide.

She currently lives in Hawaii with her oversized hamster dog @rooneythegianthamsterdog, creating Thessalonike beachwear to fund her growing conservation goals and spending as much time submerged in the big blue as she can. All of the pieces from the collection are inspired by a marine animal or cause, with a percentage of profits from multiple different items going towards the causes of few organizations she feels particularly passionate about.
